Description
The HMS Victory is amongst the most well-known warships ever to set sail. Ordered in 1758 and launching in 1765, she is best known for her role as Lord Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar.
After many years, HMS Victory was moved to a dry dock in Portsmouth, preserved as a museum ship. As of 2020, she is the world’s oldest naval ship still in commission, with 242 years of service.
