Grand Banks Model Sailboat Kit

In 1956, the Newton family was inspired to build the first ever Grand Banks yacht following their career as custom yacht builders in Hong Kong. They focused on simplicity in design, classical and sleek lines with a nautical feel; combined with the latest technology and an emphasis on luxury.

This particular Grand Banks model is the 46, which was designed as a cruising yacht. There is an emphasis on comfort, speed and safety. The boat includes a wide walk around deck and a well equipped steering and navigation system. The maximum speed of the vessel is 20 knots.

Features of the kit

You can remove the whole upper portion of the cabin to look inside the model yacht. Below are three photos, one with the upper portion attached and two with it removed.

You can also fit two RS450 motors to the model to make it an rc boat.
