On Friday 3rd September, the employees of Premier Ship Models travelled to West Lodge Park Hotel in Cockfosters to receive the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Category of International Trade. Fitting and well-deserved, as the company’s ethos revolves around export, and always seeks to improve and grow with their trading techniques. Throughout the day, the employees gave speeches of thanks whilst networking with other attendants. The award itself was presented by the Lord Lieutenant Robert Voss, to Premier Ship Model’s CEO Rashid Lalloo, as seen below:
On receiving the reward, Rashid was sure to announce how very proud he was of how far Premier Ship Models have come. Upon hearing everybody’s speeches, he found it interesting to hear each employee’s various takes on the company, and that was the best part of the day.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Category of International Trade is very prestigious and is only offered to a percentage of companies across the UK, the percentage itself being below 1%. It’s an official endorsement from the Queen herself, exhibiting the company’s success, growth and ambition. Striving for quality is one of the company’s many mantras, and this act of recognition truly does show how far the company has come. Whilst a large amount of the company’s business is conducted internationally, Premier Ship Models is also doing exceedingly well domestically, growing larger and bettering itself as a company each and every year.
Employees of Premier Ship Models also used the ceremony to its fullest capacity by seizing the opportunity to communicate with other potential clientele, and expand their brand and image. Speeches were given by three of the seven employees in attendance, before a speech was given by Lord Lieutenant Robert Voss himself, commending the company’s excellence, ambition and ingenuity.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is for outstanding achievement by UK business in terms of innovation, sustainability and development, and international trade, and it is certainly safe to say that Premier Ship models has excelled in each and every one of these categories, and so the award is well-deserved. It is a fantastic way to celebrate the company’s success, as it truly recognises Premier Ship Models contribution to UK and International Enterprise.
