The Unicorn (La Licorne in French) model by Premier Ship Models is fully handcrafted with attention to the smallest detail. This is a fictional model of a vessel which featured in The Adventures of TinTin comic books, The Secret of the Unicorn published in 1943 & Red Rackham’s treasure published in 1944.

The model of the ship is purchased by TinTin in a market in Brussels and intended as a present for his friend Captain Haddock. They soon discovered that the ship model of The Unicorn, a 17th century navy vessel captained by Haddock’s ancestor Sir Francis Haddock.

The model ship plays a leading role in both comic book stories. And the model of La Licorne features throughout the 2011 Spielberg 3D movie called “The Adventure of Tintin: The secret of the Unicorn”.
